The original skit of the Roxbury Brothers was entitled “Roxbury Around The Town.” Will Ferrell as Steve Butabi, Chris Kattan as Doug Butabi and some say it is Tom Hanks as Jack Butabi but it doesn’t look like him at all. This is the clip that inspired the smash hit “A Night at the Roxbury.” What is Love is a classic song and the head bob is imitated on dance floors all over the world. “You, me, you, me?”
Well I am pretty sure that most of us are familiar with Will Ferrell playing Steve Butabi and Chris Kattan playing Doug Butabi from “Night at the Roxbury.” There are a lot of people that don’t realize though that the original Butabi Brothers skit from Saturday Night Live was what inspired the movie. Jim Carrey is also featured in the skit and is pretty hilarious. Molly Shannon also makes a brief appearance in the beginning. They crash a high school prom, a wedding reception and an old folks home.
