Will Ferrell hosted another amazing night of Saturday Night Live and resurrected some of the great old skits that he performed years ago. Everyone knows that Weekend Update has been a staple on SNL for years but Ferrell’s rendition as Harry Caray was quite a treat. Harry Caray is one of Will’s funniest impersonations. This one is Harry Caray from the afterlife and he talks Manny Ramirez and steroids. “Being dead is the best thing that ever happened to me.” Cubs Win! Cubs Win!
Will Ferrell once again plays the famous announcer for the Chicago Cubs, Harry Caray. He is the host of Space: The Infinite Frontier. His guest of the day is Jeff Goldblum and they are supposed to be discussing the possible detection of a new planet. Instead he goes off on Mad Cow Disease, solar eclipses and cheese. “If the moon was made of spareribs, would you eat it? It’s not a difficult question. Just say yes and we’ll move on!”
Will Ferrell plays Harry Caray again! This is such a great skit and one that Saturday Night Live has reproduced on several occasions. This one features Joan Allen and others have featured stars such as Jeff Goldblum. All we can say is Linda Ham!
