Will Ferrell plays the Devil and trys to help Garth Brooks right a song that will make him a hit musician. Let’s just say that Will Ferrell is not the most inspiring Devil and he really needs to work on his sound. Freds Slacks, the Smashmouth song and more can’t turn into hits until Garth Brooks sings “Oh the Devil can’t write no love song.” “Its made from the bones of sinners and…its a fender” Lucifer has never been so funny?

Will Ferrell plays James Lipton from Inside the Actors Studio. He does such a deadpan rendition of Lipton that this skit is worth how painful Alec Baldwin is. Alec Baldwin plays Charles Nelson Riley and regretfully to admit, it is one of the most annoying skits I have ever seen. If it weren’t for Ferrell playing Lipton, I would have shut it off! Just watch to hear Ferrell say “Scrumtralescent!”
Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri play Spartan Cheerleaders for the annual chess tournament. This has to be one of the most ridiculous skits that Will Ferrell has ever done. The Perfect Cheer is one of the funniest moments in the whole skit. Ferrell plays Craig Buchanan and the line “I did drugs once” is so funny. Cheri Oteri plays Arianna, Will’s very awkward partner and cheerleader sidekick. “U-G-L-Y, you ain’t got no alibi you ugly, yeah yeah, you ugly.” So check me out!
The patio lovers skit with Will Ferrell and Rachel Dratch has some of the funniest, yet awkward lines of any Saturday Night Live skit ever. Christopher Walken plays an old friend of the professors Clarvin. Their only interest seems to be in talking about awkward love making sessions. There are a couple different skits with this couple in it, including ones with Jimmy Fallon, Drew Barrymore, Winona Ryder and more. The Welshly Arms Hotel skit probably a little more famous than the Patio Lovers skit.
This skit was originally called Family Dinner but has become better known by one of the most memorable Will Ferrell lines ever. “I drive a Dodge Stratus!” Not to be forgotten are “I can do 100 pushups in 20 minutes” or Sarah Michelle Gellar yelling “I hate you…both” Will Ferrell really set the bar with this Saturday Night Live Skit.
